Good News Ammaveedu is for the people who are deprived of their basic necessities. The greatest achievement of the centre is that it runs purely with the support and help from many good-willed people around the world. The centre has been a home of love for nearly 450 people since 2010. Ammaveedu tries to provide herself through gardening, agriculture, vegetable cultivation, dairy, poultry, etc. We focus on their integral growth by providing them various opportunities like spiritual nourishments through Holy Eucharist, community prayer, Rosary, reading, sharing, and other cultural activities. Physical health through Yoga, exercises, manual work, etc., mental health through counseling, watching Television, games, recreation, and so on. Many poor families in and around Kottayam become a part of our endeavor through sharing the daily food, washing the inmates’ clothes, frequent visits, providing the daily material needs such as rice, soaps, clothes, various other food items, etc.
